Production[edit]

In Rainbows – From the Basement was filmed in a day[5] with sound by Nigel Godrich and video direction by David Barnard at The Hospital Club's TV Studio in London's Covent Garden[6] for longtime Radiohead collaborator Godrich's podcast and television programme From the Basement.[7] The Radiohead performance was the beginning of the second series of the programme.[8][9] Radiohead performed songs from their 2007 album In Rainbows, plus 'Myxomatosis', 'Where I End and You Begin' and 'The Gloaming' (from 2003's Hail to the Thief), and 'Optimistic' (from 2000's Kid A).[6][10]
